Oki C5550 MFP
Oki has released a new compact A4 multifunction printer (MFP). The network ready device integrates printing, copying, scanning and faxing for small work teams and individuals and has been designed to meet the demands of high volume users. The C5550 MFP prints at 20/32ppm, uses high capacity toners (up to 6000 pages) and boasts an overall monthly duty cycle of up to 60,000 pages. It has 256MB of memory and can handle high volume or media intensive jobs, and features a 50-sheet automatic document feeder as standard. The product has direct network connection for printing and scanning; allows scanning to email, FTP and CFIS without a locally connected PC; and comes with LDAP support. The Mobile Memory Mouse 8000 is a rechargeable notebook mouse with 1GB of fl ash memory built into the transceiver. This three-in-one tool lets users work wirelessly, save files to the mouse memory and recharge the unit through a single USB port. The mouse also features 2.4GHz wireless technology as well as a selectable Bluetooth mode, proprietary high-definition laser technology, and a new Windows Flip 3D button that gives users instant access to Windows Vista provided they are using a PC running Windows Aero. GN Jabra GN9350 OC
The Jabra GN9350 OC is one of the first long-range wireless DECT headsets optimised for Microsoft Office Communicator 2007, according to GN. Featuring wideband sound quality, plug-and-play capabilities and a wireless range of up to 100 metres, the GN9350 OC enables users to quickly switch between PC-based VoIP and a traditional desk phone. It offers a conference call capability, three wearing styles and an optional hot-swappable interchangeable battery. It features PeakStop technology that cuts out loud and sudden noises to protect the user's hearing. The headset also has integrated buttons for answering and hanging up a call and adjusting the volume - useful for when the user is up to 100m away from the computer. Sansa View Video MP3 Player
SanDisk's new video MP3 player offers a wide range of features and large storage capacity. Two models are available - an 8GB and 16GB - and both are expandable by up to 8GB using a microSD or microSDHC card. The Sansa View uses flash memory to play full-motion video, music, FM radio and audio books, and will display photos up to 16 megapixels in size. The player supports a variety of popular video formats including H.264, WMV and MPEG4, and allows users to convert numerous other video files, including DivX, into a format that can be read via its one-time Sansa Media Converter software download. SanDisk claims 12 two-hour movies will fit on the Sansa View for each 8GB of memory, with media running at 30 frames per second throughout. The device features a backlit scroll wheel as well as a 2.4-inch TFT widescreen display with 320 x 240 resolution to help with easy navigation and video viewing. The FM radio on the player has 20 preset stations, and it comes with an integrated microphone and voice recording functions. As a music player, the Sansa View is capable of holding about 2000 MP3 files per 8GB of memory, and supports protected and unprotected WMA files, Wav, and DRM-free MP3s. The vendor claims the rechargeable battery can run for 35 hours of audio playback or seven hours of video.Distributed by VME Systems.
