New accessories vendor comes to town

New range pitched at retail chains
Matthew Sainsbury 26 November, 2007 14:34:35

Local importer, Selandia, will start offering a new range of IT accessories from Sandberg in the Australian market by next February.

Sandberg is a Danish company which produces a range of low-cost, high-turnover products including USB cables and networking and sound equipment.

Selandia managing director, Nils Jensen, said there was room in the local market for another quality accessories provider. The entire Sandberg range comes with a five-year warranty.

Selandia will initial pitch the products at retail chains such as Retravision and Harvey Norman. Incentives include smart packaging, manned help desks and a return/price guarantee.

Jensen said he was aware it would take time to build the brand in Australia but Selandia would be active in demonstrating the product to resellers.
