After Hours: Corporate Express IT solutions general manager, Marcus Heron

ARN Staff 21 February, 2007 15:07:39

Interview with Corporate Express IT solutions general manager, Marcus Heron.

My favourite book or movie ... I do tend to get into any good factual adventure stories. I recently read Ernesto Che Guevara's The Motorcycle Diaries.

If I could go anywhere ... following a recent motorbike trip around Australia and reading the above book, I now have a South American bike trip on the wish list.

If I wasn't doing this job ... I'd make a pretty good stay at home father; as long as I could regularly fl y away with the kids to wherever it happens to be snowing. Assuming my wife wouldn't keep me, I'd probably pursue my ongoing passion for property development.

The person I most admire ... is my grandfather for his calm, unflappable approach to any issue he ever faced. I also admire my brother for his ability to carve out a more than acceptable balance between work and life with some time for a few adventures along the way.

I really hate ... anybody who throws cigarette butts and rubbish on the street. I'll probably get arrested for throwing burning butts back into their cars one day.
