EDS Australia signs $25 million deal with ADF
A consortium led by Chandler MacLeod Group (ASX:CMG), and which includes EDS, has been awarded a $25 million contract from the Australian Defence Force.
The deal will see EDS providing back-end support for the ADF's current $405 million recruitment outsourcing push.
EDS will be providing services such as IT outsourcing, data centre and workplace Services and applications development and management.
The ADF hopes to attract up to 11,000 Navy, Army and Air Force recruits per year through the recruitment drive, and has also rewarded contracts to Chandler MacLeod itself, Daemon and Corporate Health Groups for the project.
