Each controller can manage 200 wireless access points, either HiPath or other 802.11-based brands, remotely or within the WLAN, and you can connect via Siemens' advanced OptiPoint WL2 Professional handsets (pictured). Layer 3 'overlay' architecture means the controller can be anywhere on the network. Included convergence software offers feature updates, security and access control, centralised auto-configuration and software loading, logging and tracing. Siemens promises no more dropped voice-over-WLAN calls while roaming and transparent user hand-off. Up to 50 virtual LANs can be created and managed using Siemens' Virtual Network Services. The HiPath Wireless Controller supports comprehensive access authentication, encryption and intrusion detection capabilities.Distributed by IPL Communications

Ericsson W25 3G Wireless Terminal
This voice and data solution is designed for home or small office users on the 3G network. If users are unable to get onto the Internet via a landline, the W25 unit can connect online using mobile networks. The W25 operates by mains power, connects to a landline telephone or PC, and houses a 3G SIM card from any 3G network. If access to a 3G network is not possible, the W25 can also operate using GSM. The SIM card ensures all calls are sent over the mobile network so users making a high number of landline to mobile calls are charged at mobile to mobile rates. The W25 hooks up to the computer via its four-ports or using Wi-Fi and is also capable of IP faxing.Distributed byPowertec Telecommunications.
