Acer has become an official sponsor of the Fiat Yamaha Team. The agreement extends over the next two seasons of the MotoGP World Championships, and will see the Acer brand displayed on both the motorbikes and race suits of Valentino Rossi and Colin Edwards as well as pit crew uniforms and team transport vehicles.
"The strategies and objectives of Acer are in perfect unity with those of Fiat Yamaha Team: the dedication to objectives, the pursuit of success and the spirit of competition are all qualities we both share," Acer president, Gianfranco Lanci, said.
"We have chosen to initiate this new and important partnership with Yamaha, safe in the knowledge that the association of our brand with such a successful team will in turn help strengthen Acer's overall leadership."
