Melbourne | Wed 8 Sept 2004, 8am - 12:30pm | Park Hyatt Melbourne - 1 Parliament Square off Parliament Place, Melbourne
About the Seminar
Enormous opportunities are opening up for whitebox resellers to profit from the consumer electronics market. ARN - in partnership with Ingram Micro - is launching a breakfast seminar series to help resellers uncover digital convergence opportunities and plot the road ahead for the whitebox market.
The seminar series will reveal the current state of the whitebox market, where it is heading, and how digital convergence and consumer electronics will provide growth and profits.
Keynote Address: Don Kennedy, Managing Director of IDG Australia and NZ, the publisher of ARN.
Kennedy has been tracking trends in Australian IT for over a decade, and was instrumental in the launch of ARN. He will look at the future of the whitebox market, the impact of digital convergence, and offer an analysis of upcoming trends and opportunities for resellers.
Brand NEW research: Presented for the FIRST time this study will expose the market perception of whitebox brands. Resellers attending will gain a competitive edge by listening in on this first-to-market research presentation. It was conducted by Mark Hollands who is the former editor of the Australian IT section and ex-vice-president of Gartner and will provide insight into what makes the whitebox platform attractive (or not!) to customers.
Speakers from technology leaders such as Intel, Microsoft and Samsung, will add further insight into opportunities in the consumer electronics market and show ways to run your future business.
Panel discussion, hosted by ARN publisher Susan Searle, will give both industry leaders and the audience the chance to get to the heart of issues, challenges and opportunities in this exciting market.
