When I talk to people in the industry, I regularly hear that one of their favourite parts of it is how rapid, dynamic, and changing it is.
Sounds like a blockbuster? It does to me - so, in this topic the question is, so far in 2009, what do you think are some of the biggest/ most dramatic/ most exciting stories to happen?
For me, you can't go much past the acquisition of Sun by Oracle. Two disparate forces joining to overcome a larger, and brutal enemy (the horror story that is the economy)? Sounds like a true Spielberg.
The NBN is a big drama all of its own. We don't actually know what is happening in detail and yet the press have given it more coverage than anything else.
