ProgramLive is a Multimedia, Java-Based "livetext" on programming. A livetext provides a more effective learning experience than other instructional media does because readers learn by watching, listening, and doing. While ProgramLive is the first livetext to provide instruction in computer programming, it is not the first livetext.
