Making Use of JavaScript

JavaScript is a versatile language that can be used to enhance client-side and server-side scripting. JavaScript is also widely used for its abilities to manage user input, show text, play sounds, display images, and communicate with a plug-in response.

* Mastery of JavaScript allows Web masters and Web site developers to easily add interactivity, moving beyond static HTML pages

Biography

SHWETA BHASIN is a development executive with NIIT. Since 2000, she has been working in the Knowledge Solutions Business (KSB) division. Her responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, and implementing Instructor Led Training (ILT) courses. She has authored ILTs on technologies such as Advanced Java, WAP, and Macromedia Freehand 9. Bhasin has also authored an advanced level textbook on RMI and Corba and has contributed various technical articles to the NIIT Web site.
