    Avnet has acquired ChannelWorx for an undisclosed sum. The Melbourne-based distributor will become the core of Avnet's networking security business with a vendor line-up that includes Juniper Networks, Avaya, IronPort, Extreme Networks and Google.

    Distributors report rise in Cisco gold business 21 June, 2006 11:43:53

    Express Data and LAN Systems have reported a growing trend for Cisco Systems gold partners to source product through distribution. The spike in business saw LAN double the amount of stock it ordered from the networking giant between April and June.
