    Internet performance and security company, CloudFlare, has picked datacentre-as-a-service provider, NextDC (ASX:NXT), as its new datacentre partner. The company joins other vendors in housing its data on NextDC’s M1 datacentre.

  • CloudRuckus and Connector Systems sign exclusive distie agreement

    Wi-Fi-as-a-Service (WaaS) provider, CloudRuckus, has inked an exclusive distie deal with specialist value added distributor, Connector Systems. As per the terms of the agreement, Connector Systems will have the exclusive rights to distribute CloudRuckus’ Cloud-based Ruckus WLAN controller service in Australia.

    The Northern Sydney Institute, part of TAFE NSW, and Cisco, recently joined forces to host the Women Rock IT event, as part of the International Girls in ICT Day on April 23. The event hosted more than 100 young women (and some men) from the Northern Sydney Institute, Bradfield College, and local high schools as well as girls and young women from the wider community to challenge stereotypes and pursue a career in IT.
