Asus has launched its Formula Series of graphics cards. Two cards are available currently -- the Radeon 4770 (EAH4770 FORMULA/DI/512MD5) and Radeon 4890 (EAH4890 FORMULA/HTDI/1GD5). Asus says their Formula Series cards are inspired by Formula One racing cars. For those who want design exclusivity and the gaming enthusiast, the heatsink and cooling-fan are even aerodynamically styled to look like an F1 racing car.

Fujitsu announced the launch of the 0-Watt-PC to its proGreen series. This energy-saving PC, announced earlier at this year's CeBIT, is now available for shipping in two versions: the Esprimo E7935 0-Watt (small form factor) and Esprimo P7935 0-Watt (microtower).

Samsung has announced the launch of its S1 Mini ultra-portable external hard drive with a maximum disk capacity of 250GB. The Samsung S1 Mini features a USB 1.8-inch hard drive which is the size of a credit card, thereby making it extremely pocketable and easy to carry around. Until now it was only available in 120GB and 160GB capacities, but the new release includes 200GB and 250GB models in addition to the new existing models.

Transcend has announced the availability of its "ultra-speed" Solid State Drive with model number SSD25D. It is a 2.5 inch drive (laptop hard disk form factor) that operates over the SATA II interface. It has 64MB of inbuilt DRAM cache. SSDs are generally more durable, reliable, and have lower power consumption than spinning magnetic hard drives.

MSI has announced that they have integrated Intel's current multimedia platform - the Intel G41 chipset - into its new series of motherboards.

Western Digital introduced its newly redesigned My Book® World Edition II dual- drive network storage system in capacities of up to 4 TB. With the double protection of two Mirrored (RAID 1) drives and continuous backup software, the My Book World Edition II network storage system provides a safe back up. Available now at select retailers and the WD online store, the new dual-drive systems join the recently introduced My Book World Edition and are compatible with PC and Mac computers.

The Calibre X265/X265HM Graphics Cards feature the 2nd generation of Calibre Dual Fly Cooling System that was designed by Sparkle. Sparkle claims this is the world's first Graphics Card with pillars traversed cooling fins technology which provides better cooling. The cooling system consists of pure aluminum thermal base, 2 high-efficient heat pipes with 6mm diameter, 2 high-efficient heat pipes with 8mm diameter, the 9 aluminum pillars traversed heat sinks and dual low speed cooling fans.

Named 'Vid', the software is a free tool to make video calls using Logitech webcams. The description of the software says it works with all Logitech webcams -- it is not clear if the software is compatible with other webcams as well.
