Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise (ALE) has inked a distribution deal with ACA Pacific Technology in Australia. The new partnership will see ACA Pacific distribute the vendor’s entire suite of data networking, Wi-Fi, enterprise voice communication, and collaboration products and services across the country.

The deal also spans across four other Asia-Pacific countries: Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand - leaving the New Zealand market out of the agreement.

This partnership follows ALE’s addition of Integrated Products to its Australian distie portfolio in March last year. ALE also has an existing distributor deal with VExpress in Australia.

ALE global sales and marketing executive vice-president, Matthieu Destot, recognised ACA Pacific’s importance in its distribution network.

“We welcome ACA Pacific to the ALE family. The relationship is expanding our reach and strengthening our ecosystem across Asia-Pacific. We’re delivering opportunities which help businesses connect to everything and improve productivity and agility for their employees.

“We look forward to work[ing] closely with ACA Pacific to address an evolving business communications market. ACA Pacific is a company with a strong pedigree in providing strategic advice to clients and they are extremely well placed to be an evangelist as customers are changing the way they buy technology,” Destot added.

ACA Pacific regional executive director, Craig Gledhill, said the deal aims to help small, medium, and large enterprises connect for greater efficiency, scalability and innovation.

Gledhill mentioned that ACA will help streamline the go-to-market of ALE, expanding the local and regional reach to support end customers and help accelerate focus towards verticals, cloud and services of ALE in the next few years.

“We look forward to offering ALE products to help ACA clients evolve communications for their business and their customers.

“ALE has a strong reputation as a vendor that values its customers, partners, and distributors. We are excited to be working with them to bring ALE communications and network solutions into the market,” he said.

According to Gledhill, it is also an opportunity to help its partners reach from the smallest business to the largest enterprise.

ACA Pacific also signed deals to distribute products of storage virtualisation company, ioFABRIC, and data protection and recovery software vendor, Arcserve, late last year.
