Global manufacturer of business printers, OKI, has partnered with specialty retailer, Cartridge World, in a move to expand its channel in Australia and New Zealand.
Under the terms of the agreement, Cartridge World will resell OKI devices at more than 200 franchise stores across the local market.
Its stores carry a large range of hardware and consumables targeted for small businesses, homes, and offices.
Cartridge World chief executive for A/NZ, Tony Kernahan, said the retailer took on OKI, as it sees their overall offering as a "great market opportunity" for its franchisees in the local B2B marketplace.
“OKI’s products are very reliable and their breadth of range enables us to offer new feature functionality not currently available through our channel," he said.
"In addition, OKI presents a huge opportunity in the SME market where the big copier people don’t tend to play, but where the OKI range is actually very attractive."
OKI Data oceanic sales manager for A/NZ, Greg Mikaelian, said that the company looks forward to working with Cartridge World to provide customers with products that support business productivity.
“Cartridge World’s breadth of franchise network as well as their professional, consultative and support services, ensures customers will receive maximum return on their OKI investment," he added.
