Westcon adds Maestrano to cloud services arsenal

Also launches version 4.0 of BlueSky Cloud

Westcon has partnered with Australian-based SaaS start-up, Maestrano as Westcon launches version 4.0 of its BlueSky Cloud platform.

The Maestrano service synchronises data from business apps and makes it accessible via a single dashboard, which is available on Westcon's BlueSky Cloud and Service Management platform.

It features a single sign-on and data interconnectivity between a catalogue of business applications, suitable for small- to medium-sized businesses (SMBs). It also integrates with key accounting, finance, human resources, CRM, and productivity tools.

Customers can incorporate data from the apps they already use and additional apps from the BlueSky 4.0 cloud platform, including existing Westcon-Comstor cloud partners like AWS.

Westcon-Comstor and Maestrano have also simplified the dashboard for end-users by pre-connecting each application, eliminating the need for application data to be re-keyed multiple times.

BlueSky 4.0 provides a marketplace for cloud procurement, linked catalogues, business applications connectivity, digital provisioning, analytics; cloud Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) analytics, optimisation engine and billing.

Partners can access more than 100 business applications, which can be used to build customised vertical solutions.

Maestrano CEO, Stephane Ibos, said the partnership expands its reseller sales channel.

Westcon-Comstor cloud practice general manager, Dan Connolly, said Maestrano complemented its global ISV strategy, focusing on vertical solutions, to help resellers accelerate cloud adoption.

“With the addition of Maestrano, we can deliver all building blocks for solutions, from hardware and software for on-premise solutions, to hybrid and public cloud, and into the higher-value applications space,” he said.
