Integrated accounting, payroll and payment systems company, Sage, along with its partner, SA3e IT Solutions, have deployed the Sage X3 solution for mining services firm, Nitro Sibir Australia. Nitro Sibir Australia is deploying Sage X3 in the Cloud, making the solution accessible from everywhere at any time.
The implementation was done to improve Nitro Sibir Australia’s business efficiency and operations management.
Nitro Sibir Australia managing director, Tim Fry, said the company will go live with Sage X3 in July, with business efficiency at the core of the company’s decision to integrate the solution into its organisation.
“The need for a system like Sage X3 is vital to rapid product development and delivery to sites and to deliver the customer exactly what they need – in full, on time, every time.
“Our business is going through rapid growth, and that expansion brings with it greater pressure in terms of business planning. Accurate purchasing and production planning capabilities, inventory management and tracking, and effective business reporting are essential for us to optimise our operations,” he said.
According to Fry, the previous solution that the company used was too limited in its analytical and reporting capabilities, which resulted in excessive man hours for data analysis, planning and reporting.
“We couldn’t get the reports we really needed, which meant production and purchasing planning involved a lot of manual adjustment and became increasingly time-intensive. Managing these challenges through this powerful business software will make a significant difference.
“Both the Sage team, and the SA3e IT Solutions team who will help us implement Sage X3, understood what we wanted to get out of the software, knew the reports we wanted and could speak the same language as us,” he added.
Sage X3 A/NZ vice-president, Bill Wass, said Sage X3 enables organisations to drive efficiency across financial and operational processes, giving employees the insights they need, when they need them.
“An essential requirement for Nitro Sibir is the ability to access Sage X3 online and through mobile devices. In an industry where a great deal of staff time is spent in the field, this capability lets it transform the responsiveness of a business,” Wass said.
“Businesses that operate a multi-location strategy, like Nitro Sibir does, want real-time information and effective collaboration managed through a flexible technology platform. Sage X3 delivers this in spades and we are proud to be involved in this deployment,” SA3e IT Solutions managing director, Kim Hendon, added.
