EMC World 2016: Aussie partners shine on the Las Vegas strip

A string of Australian partners won big in Las Vegas last week.

A string of Australian partners won big in Las Vegas last week, taking out top honours during the EMC Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) Business Partner Awards 2015 at EMC World.

Held during the 2016 EMC World Global Partner Summit, Telstra took the honours as Cloud Service Provider Partner of the Year, while Infront Systems was recognised as the region’s top XtremIO partner.

In addition, Dimension Data and Data #3 were also honoured on the regional stage, being named Converged Infrastructure Partner of the Year and Services Partner of the Year respectively.

The 2015 awards recognise EMC Partners across Asia Pacific and Japan for ongoing commitment to EMC as well as the ability to help organisations modernise the data centre as they realise digital transformation journeys.

“The winners of Business Partner Program Awards 2015 have achieved exceptional outcomes in Asia Pacific and Japan,” EMC President, Asia Pacific and Japan, David Webster, said.

“With EMC Asia Pacific and Japan Business Partner Awards 2015, we wanted to recognise the success and achievements of our channel partners in improving customers’ businesses and modernising their data centres.

“We look forward to a continued alliance with our award winning partners.”

This year, Webster said more than 200 EMC Channel and Alliance Partners from across Asia Pacific and Japan attended the Global Partner Summit at EMC World, which was held at The Venetian Resort in Las Vegas.

James Henderson attended EMC World 2016 as a guest of EMC.
