End-to-end online content delivery solutions provider, TV2U, has selected Amazon Web Services (AWS) to host its platform for TV streaming as it attempts to crack emerging markets in Russia and Thailand.

TV2U runs a B2B model for video on demand companies. Clients include telcos, large corporate organisations, and governments. TV2U owns the whole value chain for online video content delivery from Installation to delivery, subscription, maintenance, advertising and content.

It also offers customers real-time analytics and targeted advertising by device, location, or individual user - a world-first for over the top (OTT) streaming.

The company said it chose AWS because it allows its technology to scale according to subscriber usage without incurring an upfront investment.

TV2U said it will deploy the technology for its entertainment services first in Thailand, the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and mainland Russia.
