Value added distributor, Sapply, has appointed Barry Armstrong to lead the company’s Australia sales team.

In the new role, Armstrong will report to director for Asia-Pacific, Gordon Taylor, who said throughout his career, Armstrong has demonstrated outstanding level of leadership and has an excellent track record of helping companies grow their business.

Prior to his appointment at Sapply, Armstrong was alliance partner manager at Targus Australia and held previous roles at Panasonic Australia and Brightpoint Australia, accounting to more than 20 years of experience in the IT industry.

Armstrong said, “the strong portfolio of brands and the focus that Sapply has on growing the B2B enterprise space is something that attracted me. The opportunity to grow the strong foundation that Sapply has established is a very exciting opportunity.”
