Microsoft Azure IoT Hub is now available

Allows users to connect, manage and provision billions of devices

Microsoft’s Azure Internet of Things (IoT) Hub is now generally available.

The hub offers a secure way to connect, provision and manage billions of IoT devices by posing as the bridge between users devices and solutions in the Cloud, allow storage and analysis of data in real time.

The vendor said it enables secure two-way communication between device and Cloud over open protocols including MQTT, HTTPS and AMQPS.

Additionally, the hub allows integration with other Azure services including Azure Machine Learning to find insights that power IoT businesses and Azure Stream Analytics to act on those insights in real time by simultaneously monitoring millions of devices.
