Australian Cloud integration company, Rype Group, has acquired marketing agency, TwoCents Group, as part of its focused expansion strategy.
TwoCents Group will continue in its current form as a full-service marketing agency, with director Samantha Brooks staying on as CEO and founder Simon Dell taking on a consulting role with TwoCents as well as a seat on the Rype board.
Both Dell and Brooks will also become shareholders in parent company, Rype Group, as part of the acquisition.
Rype chairman, Simon Moore, said it made the acquisition as in order to better help customers, it has to be a leader in the converging marketing, commerce and technology space, and this includes not only constant innovation, but also investing in the capabilities of other businesses and teams where there are great synergies.
“Rype is the partner of choice for many of the world’s workflow and productivity solution providers, with the team committed to helping companies embrace technology and become more productive, and ultimately allow business owners to focus on what they do best,” Moore said.
“We’re dedicated to helping clients across all areas of their business and noticed a gap in the marketing space so it made perfect sense to partner with TwoCents Group.
“It’s a great team with specialist skills across marketing strategy, creative, and digital automation services who have all embraced the change, so we couldn’t be more excited to bring them on this journey with us,” he added.
TwoCents director, Samantha Brooks, who will take on the role of CEO from the end of February, said she and Dell recognised the huge opportunity in partnering with the Rype Group.
“Not only do they have a great understanding of the marketing space we inhabit, but they’re game-changers in the world of cloud integration, transforming the way businesses operate,” Brooks mentioned.
The company also has plans to move into New Zealand, followed by the US and UK by the end of 2016.
