Mozilla Firefox update fixes several vulnerabilities

Fixes vulnerabilities in Firefox 44 and earlier, and Firefox ESR version 38.6

Open source Web browser, Mozilla Firefox, claimed its latest update has fixed several critical vulnerabilities in Firefox 44 and earlier, and Firefox ESR (Extended Support Release) version 38.6.

The company said one of the vulnerabilities allows attackers to create and send a malicious fire to a user’s computer, allowing the attacker to execute code on that device.

A second vulnerability can be used to crash a computer and give attackers access to the machine during that process.

Firefox said the latest update should be applied as soon as possible and suggested that future updates be automated.
