Landesk launches Service Desk 2016

Release includes new Design App Store and integration with Skype for Business

Software solutions company, Landesk, has launched Service Desk 2016 for service desk administrators.

Landesk said the latest release completes enhancements made in the past year and delivers additional capabilities aimed to enable individuals to become more productive and better the user experience.

The additional capabilities include the new Landesk Design App Store that allows Service Desk administrators to create, view and select modules and customisable capabilities such as social media, project portfolio management and gamification apps.

Additionally, the new offering includes a new Skype adaptor to integrate Skype for Business.

Landesk ITSM and ITAM product director, Ian Aitchison, said the new capabilities will further increase IT productivity making it easy for customers to do great things within their IT departments that will benefit the entire organisation.
