ASX-listed ICT provider, Inabox Group (ASX:IAB), has appointed Vincent Pesquet as its new chief operating officer.
Pesquet joins Inabox from subsidiary, Anittel, where he served as the company’s chief executive. Inabox said the appointment was part of a strategic move to be an integrated communications business. The CEO role at Anittel will be dissolved.
Inabox managing director and chief executive, Damian Kay said having a single point of leadership across the company’s direct and indirect (wholesale) channels would ensure Inabox was leveraging the best from its portfolio of products and services.
“Vincent is the ideal choice for this role. He has proven to be an incredible asset to the business,” he added.
“In the year as CEO of Anittel Vincent has implemented a high-performing sales strategy that is proving returns, setting the business up for larger deals and projects that cross-sell all our brands’ products and services – from IT, telco and Cloud.”
Pesquet will lead the sales, marketing and operational teams for both the direct and indirect channels.
According to the new COO, irrespective of the company’s channels to market, his focus would be on meeting customer needs.
“What is important to the customer is the result. It’s our job to cross-market our skills from each channel to achieve this,” he added.
Prior to joining Inabox Group as CEO of Anittel, Vincent held leadership roles at Coca-Cola Amatil and Fosters Group.
