The Royal Automobile Club in Western Australia (RAC WA), has launched a new portal for its members called myRAC, using management software vendor, Sitecore.
The deployment comes after a three-month evaluation process where RAC evaluated several solutions before settling with Sitecore.
The portal was built by Deloitte Digital that used Sitecore to help myRAC members manage their membership, bringing together a range of self-service options and benefits.
Members can log into myRAC from their mobile, tablet or PC device, and it is also encrypted with SSL, ensuring online transactions and private information is securely kept.
RAC WA maintains about 820,000 members, which will now be able to manage their roadside, insurance and finance products, view payments, renewal details and active insurance claims.
The portal is based on the Sitecore Experience Platform, which allows digital marketers to work with content to supply relevant and personalised digital experience for its members.
The platform’s search-based capabilities also allow RAC to precisely manage search facets, result boosting, and content tagging for delivering relevant results.
RAC WA senior manager of digital and creative services, Richard Quance, said all the elements of the member portal now sit behind one system interface.
“Sitecore also supports our capacity to take the organisation to the next level in service excellence with personal content pushed out based on individual member preferences,” he said.
