Inabox Group (ASX:IAB) has appointed Tom Stianos as its new non-executive director.
Stianos has experience in the IT services industry and advises on corporate strategy, growth and performance for companies ranging from start-ups to listed companies.
Inabox Group managing director and chief executive, Damian Kay, said Stianos had a significant track record of success in improving company performance through leveraging emerging technologies.
“This is exactly the skillset we are looking for to build on Inabox’s innovation and current growth trajectory,” he said.
“In addition, Tom’s experience in leadership,mergers and acquisitions, and building partnerships with Australia’s leading corporations will be a valued complement to the Inabox Board.”
Prior to joining Inabox, Stianos was chief executive of IT service provider, SMS Management & Technology for 13 years and a non-executive director of the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA).
As the head of SMS, Stianos grew the company’s revenue from $83 million to $247 million between 2004 and 2010 and expanded the business nationally and internationally into Hong Kong, Singapore and Vietnam.
Stianos also previously held senior positions with the Department of Premier and Cabinet, Department of Justice, and Department of Treasury and Finance in Victoria.
