Chooses VMtech for ICT managed services

Marrickville Council has chosen hybrid Cloud solutions specialist, VMtech, as its ICT partner to enhance productivity, accessibility and greater customer experience for its community dwellers.

VMtech has been integral in carrying out multiple projects as part of the Council’s ongoing ICT transformation, enabling it to overcome challenges including sprawling data growth and concerns around data backup and disaster recovery systems.

The Council claimed as a result of the partnership over the last four years, it has been able to deliver reliable and efficient services to its people with a skillfully designed data management solution in place.

“Marrickville Council continues to focus on an ICT infrastructure that is reliable and integrated to maximise our productivity and prepare the Council to take advantage of applications in e-business and mobility; while at the same time fulfilling the legislative requirements for backup and DR,” Marrickville Council manager for information and communications technology, Carlos Loureiro, said.

“With VMtech’s mix of technical expertise and agile customer service engagement, we are confident to continue with our initiatives towards enabling the Council in serving the community better.”

VMtech national sales manager, James Ormesher, said VMtech’s primary focus is to maintain productive and long-lasting relationships with its customers through a commitment to providing innovative but relevant technology solutions, and continuing that by delivering a collaborative Managed Service.
