Security vendor, Symantec, has enhanced its partner program, Secure One, offering partners the chance to increase their earnings potential through simplified competency and certification requirements.
A distribution program has also been brought in to help accelerate and support partner growth.
Symantec pacific region managing director, Ian McAdam, said in A/NZ it was investing in more marketing and demand generation activities, accelerate growth with key partners and focus on making it easier for them to earn more with less hurdles.
Distributors will have an opportunity to double their incentive on select aspects of Symantec’s portfolio and participate for the first time in commercial incentives that have payouts that are up to four times the previous payouts.
The security vendor has also retooled how partners earn achievements, such as eliminating requirements for expert and principal certifications and has made adjustments to ensure partners get paid faster and have the opportunity to earn higher payouts.
A Growth Accelerator Rebate (GAR) has also been introduced, which will see partners earn payouts from the first transaction on new business opportunities.
Once a partner reaches the Platinum tier in any of the Integrate competencies (Threat Protection, Information Protection or Cyber Security Services), they can take part in a predictable, profitable GAR across the whole portfolio including Core Security.
On top of this, partners won’t have to wait until the end of the year to get their rebates paid.
