Moustaches are set to sprout across the country next month as Movember springs into action.

The Movember Foundation is asking the technology industry to join its Technology Challenge 2015, which raised more than $300,000 last year thanks to the efforts of 1203 Mo Bros and Mo Sistas.

In the past four years, the technology industry has grown some interesting pieces of facial furniture to raise more than $1 million.

By committing a top lip for 30 hairy days, vital awareness and funds for prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health can be raised. There are prizes on offer for the highest fundraising team, highest fundraising individual and the best moustache.

“ A little healthy Mo growing competition certainly has a positive impact on morale, bring employees together and building a sense of camaraderie for the month,” Movember business engagement manager, Charlene Brennan, said.

Join Movember for its 13th year this November and support locally grown moustaches by registering, growing and celebrating at an official end of month event.
