Technology product and services business, Hills, has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with video content analytics company, Ipsotek. As per the agreement, Hills will serve as Ipsotek’s exclusive distributor for the A/NZ region.
Hills will be distributing the company’s entire Video Content Analysis (VCA) platform.
Ipsotek chief executive, Bill Flind, said it picked Hills for its experience and commitment within the video analytic solutions space.
“We are delighted to have the opportunity to work with Hills in A/NZ. It has the experience and commitment to deliver and support our advanced video analytic solutions in all of the key vertical market areas.
“We are already working closely together in several key government and commercial projects,” Flind claimed.
Hills vendor business manager, Mark Shannon, said the latest partnership is an exciting move for both parties and that Ipsotek’s product suite will complement its range of VMS solutions.
“VCA provides a powerful set of capabilities to allow users to maximise their investment not only in video surveillance, but also allows use in business analytics for marketing and other commercial purposes.
“Ipsotek’s VCA adds a dimension to a surveillance system that aims to provide a level of intelligence we have only heard about. Well now it is here,” Shannon mentioned.
