Expert360 co-founders, Emily Yue and Bridget Loudon have just secured $4.1 million in capital funding.

Consultancy marketplace startup, Expert360, has secured $4.1 million in its second round of capital raising.

Founded in July 2013, the company specialises in connecting consultants and companies in an online marketplace.

Investors from Australia, the US and Europe contributed to the latest round of funding including Frontier Ventures, rampersand and former Macquarie Bank managing director, Allan Moss.

Expert360 chief executive, Bridget Loudon, said the initial belief within the company was that its services would be most in-demand from small to medium enterprises.

“Since our last cap[ital] raise we’ve been blown away by the inbound demand from enterprise clients in particular,” she said.

The company’s co-founder and chief operational officer, Emily Yue, said the new capital will see it expand support for consultants by giving access to research, data and other intellectual property.

Yue also said the funds will be used to expand Expert360’s enterprise offering.
