Cybersecurity and collective threat intelligence company, Webroot, has added DNA Connect to its network of distributors in Australia.
Partnering with companies around the globe, Webroot aims to provide MSPs, resellers, and systems integrators enhanced privacy, performance, and protection through exclusive partner programs.
As per the agreement, the security solutions distributor will be expanding its product portfolio with Webroot’s SecureAnywhere Business Endpoint Protection, SecureAnywhere Web Security Service and SecureAnywhere Business Mobile solutions.
As part of the new agreement, DNA Connect will also offer new partners and Webroot elite partners incentives and up to 10 per cent back in reward points. In addition, they will have access to DNA Connect’s marketing team to help them generate business leads.
Webroot indicated the distie partnership was inked to help business customers benefit from improved malware protection, system performance and overall productivity.
It claimed, in its 2015 threat brief, an average of nearly 900 phishing attempts are detected per financial institution and more than 9000 attempts are detected per technology company.
“With such a significant increase in cybersecurity incidents, MSPs and businesses are ramping up Internet security efforts and are quickly adopting Cloud based security to deploy and manage endpoint protection across multiple domains, devices, customers and offices from a single, centralised console,” Webroot Asia-Pacific managing director, Robbie Upcroft, said.
"By including our security solutions in its portfolio, DNA Connect can deliver support to an expansive number of customers. The agreement will also open up significant opportunities for new partnerships across Australia.”
DNA Connect executive director, Munsoor Khan, added that security is an increasing issue in Australia and intelligent cybersecurity solutions from businesses like Webroot address it.
“We are thrilled to offer them to our market,” he added.
