2015 ARN ICT Industry Awards: Nominations hit 460 smashing the old record

Deluge of nominations sees record set last year destroyed by 65 per cent

The lines are well and truly closed, the nominations for the 2015 ARN ICT Industry Awards are all in, the ARN number crunchers have been at work, and it is with great pride that we can announce that this year nominations totalled ... wait for it ... 460. This smashed the previous record of 278 set last year by an incredible 182 - an increase of 65 per cent.

The number is almost exactly double the number of nominations for 2013.

We are humbled at such an extraordinary response which once again underscores ARN's dominant position as the #1 channel publication and the Awards as the only ICT industry event that matters.

What happens next? ARN's short list panel then holds a series of meetings, beginning this week, and selects the finalists for each award.

The panel is made up of: ARN’s President and Publisher, Susan Searle; ARN Editor, Allan Swann; ARN Associate Editor, Events, Jennifer O'Brien; Channel Dynamics’ Moheb Moses; and Hall of Fame inductee, David Henderson.

ARN's 100-plus judging panel of industry leaders will then get down to business. Judges are asked to nominate a Winner and a Highly Commended. Judges make their selections based on the way nominees have responded to the criteria, along with their knowledge of the organisation in the channel over the last 12 months.

The ninth ARN ICT Industry Awards will be presented at a Celebration Dinner on Thursday, September 10, at the Hilton Hotel in Sydney. The 2015 awards theme is Carnivale - parading the industry’s best.

Once again, everybody at ARN Central thanks for your time, effort, involvement and commitment with the 2015 ARN ICT Industry Awards.
