IT and communications integration and support company, Intellect IT, has announced an enterprise-level partnership with VMware. As part of the partnership, it’s been awarded the VMware vCloud Air specialisation status.

Specialisation status is earned through a combination of validated experience in the specific marketplace and successful completion of VMware training.

According to Intellect IT, VMware has recognised its of expertise in selling the hybrid Cloud services, highlighting the value it brings to customers in the market.

“Intellect IT is seeing an increase in customers who are consuming various types of Cloud infrastructure with most the popular use case being backup and disaster recovery.

“By gaining this level of partnership and specialisation with VMware, Intellect IT has demonstrated its commitment to providing customers with expertise in this field,” Intellect IT director, Max Soukhomlinov, said.

He added the partnership enables helping customers take advantage of VMware’s hybrid cloud service, vCloud Air, and offers organisations already running VMware an easy road to extending their existing datacentres into the Cloud without needing to reengineer their systems or retrain.

“It also provides new VMware customers a completely seamless integration path with hybrid and public Cloud infrastructure. There is no doubt that hosting datacentres in the Cloud offers organisations advantages in terms of flexibility, cost reduction, reduced administrative burden and support for mobile strategies,” he added.
