Kensington launches Australian-led channel rewards program

Computing accessory vendor, Kensington, has launched a new partner rewards program in Australia, that aims to incentivise and remunerate its local channel partners.

Named the Kensington Partner Rewards Program, it will enable partners registered for it to earn points by selling Kensington products and redeeming it for gifts.

As per the arrangement, for every Kensington product purchased through an authorised distributor, registered partners will receive reward points. Partners have a choice of redemption from more than 900 items that include Swarovski jewellery, Fitbits, barbeques and even overseas holidays.

All partners have to do is track their monthly sales on the program portal, and once verified by Kensington, their points will be updated on the system. Once they’ve accumulated enough points for the gift that they’ve been saving up for, they have to just place an order online within their account.

Kensington marketing and business development manager, Sam Goldstein, said the program will drive partner sales, increase revenue and establish market share. He added it shows the company is not just a technology accessories provider but a vendor that wants to work together with its partners.

“At Kensington, we see our partners and resellers as an extension of our team. We want to make selling our products easy and reward them for their efforts. By giving them the tools they need to do their jobs more effectively and incentivising them to sell Kensington products, we can expand our reach with Australian consumers,” he claimed.

In addition, the company intends to sweeten the deal for the first 50 partners that register for the program – they will receive 5000 bonus rewards points to get them started.

In conjunction with this new sales force engagement program, Kensington also announced enhancements to its partner portal, that aims to provide partners with access tools and content to increase competitive advantage.
