Ingram Micro names new APAC Cloud executive director

New director has previously held senior leadership roles at Telstra, Cisco and HP

Ingram Micro has appointed Richard Duggan as executive director, Cloud APAC.

In this role, Duggan will be responsible for driving the region’s Cloud revenue and profit margin, establishing key cloud partnerships with affiliates, developing and expanding cloud business operations, and heading the region’s overall cloud market strategy.

Duggan will report directly to vice president, global Cloud computing, Renee Bergeron.

Duggan said Cloud computing was experiencing accelerated growth across the region.

"There is a huge amount of untapped potential as organisations seek to transform customer experience and drive new revenue streams,” he said.

“This is an exciting time to be part of Ingram Micro, and I’m looking forward to expanding the company’s cloud footprint in Asia Pacific.”

Duggan has held senior leadership positions in cloud and channel at companies including Telstra Global and Cisco Systems.

Most recently, he served as director of Cloud sales Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) at Hewlett Packard.

His experience spans SMB and large enterprise markets across four continents.

Bergeron said he was thrilled to welcome Duggan to the company's leadership team.

“Asia Pacific plays a critical role in the future of cloud computing, and Richard’s demonstrated expertise will help Ingram Micro execute against our global cloud strategy while enabling our regional channel partners to transform and grow their business in the cloud.”
