Australian systems integrator Digicor has become a Brocade Premier Partner in the networking vendor's Alliance Partner Network (APN) Program.
Digicor will work with the entire Brocade portfolio of products, from campus to core and software, including Brocade’s newly launched IP storage and networking solutions.
It is seeking to attain the Elite Partner status by the end of the year.
Digicor will be attending and exhibiting at the New Zealand CIO Summit event in Auckland on June 9-10 with Brocade.
Brocade A/NZ channel manager, Paul Barge, said Digicor typified the quality partners the company was looking for with focus on delivering its New IP to market.
"Their deep understanding of storage and compute solutions will make this a mutually beneficial partnership,” he said.
Digicor sales director, Mark Telkes, said customers had been quite clear about their desire to shift towards open and flexible storage solutions.
"Brocade’s New IP allows us to offer them the ability to keep pace with rapidly changing technologies and meet their operational requirements," he said.
"We see a very strong future for our partnership with Brocade and look forward to working closely with them to ensure we continue to meet our obligations as trusted advisor for our customers.”
The Brocade APN Program rewards partners that invest in developing knowledge-rich practices to address new technology trends, according to a company statement.
The program offers a full set of intelligent, customisable tools that will assist partners in selling Brocade solutions and supports the needs of partners as they help customers make the transition towards network convergence.
Founded in 1997, Digicor provides enterprise and business solutions in Australia and New Zealand, with an emphasis on high performance servers, storage and networking solutions.
