1. Key channel plays for 2015?

Build a trusted hybrid cloud solution to achieve workload alignment. You no longer need to choose between speed, agility, perceived lower costs of public cloud services or the control and security of a private cloud infrastructure. A trusted hybrid cloud embodies the best of both public and private clouds, providing an environment that is highly secure, reliable, and largely automated, and enables fluid movement of business and workloads between internal and external resources.

2. Key technology for 2015?

Embrace Converged Infrastructure and All Flash technology to speed up and simplify IT operations and improve agility. The growth of converged infrastructure will accelerate this year. Organisations want highly virtualised and integrated servers, storage and networking appliances. All Flash technology is the future of storage, but it needs to be true scale-out to drive the performance and economic benefits. The promise of the All Flash Data Centre is here. 3. Key message to the channel for 2015?

You’re EMC’s key to success. How can we help you succeed? We’ve launched a brand new Business Partner Program built upon the foundations of simple, predictable and profitable. It’s a more financially rewarding program, simple in structure and backed by clear “Rules of Engagement”. We also see the need to help our partners have more relevant, outcome based conversations with customers, so we’ve revamped out enablement program to focus more on solutions like Hybrid Cloud. We’ve also just launched our killer hyper-converged infrastructure appliance VSPEX Blue and made it only available through our partners! This is the first of its kind for EMC where the distributor assembles, integrates and sells the solution to our partner ecosystem. We want to facilitate relationships that get the value chain closer to the end user, providing more margin for resellers and providing good things for all involved along the way. We want to make it easy for you to do business with us, so get in touch and let us know how we can help!

4. Key warning to the channel for 2015?

Look out for disruption as lots of change is coming your way. Significant shifts in technology, consumption methods and choice are occurring and you need to be both open and ready for them. The EMC Federation, consisting of EMC, VMware, RSA, VCE and Pivotal, is well positioned to help you increase your value during these exciting times. In a business world defined by digital disruption, your responsiveness to these changes will be how you win new customers.

5. Key to their company for 2015?

Our partners are key to EMC! We are focused on helping you deliver best-in-class EMC products and solutions to meet the wide variety of customer’s IT challenges. Our EMC Business Partner Program will help our partners adapt to the changes we’re seeing in the market at the moment. It’s a shift away from focusing on products. We’ll be enabling our partners so they’re better equipped to have conversations about business solutions. Embrace the training and development components of the program as they help you become an expert. EMC’s partners help transform awesome technology into great outcomes!
