Synnex Australia has struck a deal to distribute Apple's Mac product line in Australia as of March 2.

Synnex will be distributing the Mac, including the MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, iMac, iMac with Retina 5K display, Mac Pro, and Mac Mini.

Synnex Australia became an Authorised Apple Distributor in September 2014, initially distributing the iPad.

A dedicated sales team has been set up to provide support and services for Apple authorised reseller’s enquiries.

Synnex chief executive, Kee Ong, said distributing both the Mac and iPad was a great opportunity to further service the existing Apple authorised resellers.

“Synnex is adding dedicated resources to support the Apple business to ensure the best possible service is being provided to customers, so that they can then support their customers in the best way.” he said.

Synnex will begin distributing the Mac from 2 March 2015 to Apple Authorised Resellers nationally.
