Key market plays for 2015?
The investment we’ve put in the last year has resulted in us tripling the size of our team based on the creation of LogicNow as a spin out of GFi Software. We’ve made a significant investment in our team to support the Australian channel and we’re very optimistic with where we can go with it.
Key message for the channel?
It’s important for the channel to continue focusing on the managed services trend and try to let go of the traditional reseller mindset. Focusing on the tighter engagement with their clients and developing an ongoing relationship so it's not as much transaction-based relationship, but an on-going one.
Key technology trends this year?
From our perspective its the development around an integrated security portfolio. The range and number of malware continues to increase and the ability to deploy a complete set of security solutions will be essential tool for anyone delivering managed services.
Key warning to the channel?
It has to be careful to balance the conflicting demands of standardising their systems and processes which is the key to their efficiency, but still take advantage of the new technology trends in the market.
