Montech Holdings has finalised a deal to acquire Cloud software and services companies Breeze and Technology Effect.

Breeze is a Microsoft Gold Partner specialising in application integration and development, Cloud computing integration and migration and mobile development.

While Technology Effect offers a range of consulting, integration and managed services solutions in information communications technology and Cloud related areas with a focus on mid-tier enterprises and the public sectors.

Newly appointed Montech chief executive and 2014 ARN Women in ICT Awards Entrepreneur winner, Nicki Page, told ARN the deal was signed this morning.

"We have finalised the share sale agreement today, so we are now part of Montech and we are through the transition phase," she said.

"It's exciting times I am looking forward to stepping into the shoes of a publicly listed CEO."

Both Technology Effect and Breeze will initially continue to operate as independent businesses under their own brands, according to a company statement.

However, it is envisaged that in time the businesses will merge as they both evolve and expand, cross-pollinating the offerings, services and geographies in which they operate.

Page has been appointed as director and chief executive of Montech, and Technology Effect’s co-founder Joe D’Addio was appointed as director and chief operating officer.

David Shein will remain Non-Executive Chairman of Montech, working closely with the executive leadership teams at Technology Effect and Breeze, both in supporting and growing their businesses and in fostering new opportunities (including via acquisition), which may complement their activities and Montech’s overall strategy.

Page said the company would now have tremendous backing with some "fabulous" entrepreneurs".

"It means we can now offer customers end-to-end integration and really take them on that Cloud journey," she said.

"Our focus is a customers first approach and exceptional customers experience.
