1Spatial Australia has been named a Safe Software platinum partner for the fourth year in a row.

The Big Data company provides full consulting services and training for Safe’s FME (Feature Manipulation Engine) desktop and FME server products. It also provides workflow development services and support for FME Cloud.

1Spatial Australia country manager, Martin Gregory, said platinum partner status recognises the firm’s level of skills in the FME product.

“[It] means our customers can continue to get real tangible benefits from our professional services team and our special relationship with Safe." The firm also announced Australian dates for its FME world tour. Events will be held in Perth on April 29 and in Sydney on May 1, 2015.

The firm said the events will focus on ensuring existing users understand and can apply new capabilities. It said the events also allow those considering FME to obtain information about the products and services.

Safe Software vice-president of development and co-chief executive, Dale Lutz, said the firm was pleased that 1Spatial maintained platinum partner status in Australia and the United Kingdom.

“Taken together, their large number of certified professionals and certified trainers in multiple regions gives them a significant level of global FME expertise. It is an honour to be able to recognise them in this way.”

1Spatial has five FME certified personnel across the organisation with two based in Australia and three in the UK.
