Juniper Networks and VMware are spearheading a strategy aimed at accelerating the adoption of private cloud in APAC.
The private Cloud strategy builds on last year's global technology partnership to deliver joint marketing and sales activities in APAC.
The APAC push includes interoperable products to support integration of the VMware NSX platform with Juniper Networks’ MetaFabric architecture for virtualised datacentre networking.
The partnership between Juniper Networks and VMware aims to deliver simplified, flexible solutions that enable customers to more easily realize the benefits of network virtualization and SDN.

The global market for private cloud services is forecast to grow at a compound annual rate of 22 per cent between 2013-2018, according to TechNavio.
Yet the implementation and management of virtual infrastructures, together with network latency, are among the leading pain-points cited by CIOs across the APAC region.
VMware, senior vice president and general manager, Asia Pacific and Japan, Sanjay Mirchandani, said the entire IT landscape was undergoing a dramatic shift toward mobile applications delivered from the cloud.
"Nobody should underestimate the challenge this represents to datacentre operations," he said.
"Together with Juniper Networks, we have a strong focus on addressing datacentre complexity by leveraging the power of network virtualisation to radically simplify IT, while delivering services at the speed of today’s business.”
Juniper Networks, vice president, systems engineering and centre of excellence, APAC, Russell Skingsley, said enterprises were looking looking to software-defined data centre technology and network virtualisation as a means of easily deploying, managing and orchestrating private cloud networks.
"At Juniper, we believe customers will realise the greatest benefits when physical and virtual networks leverage each other’s strengths," he said.
"Through our partnership with VMware in APAC, we are committed to helping our customers maximise the benefit of both their virtual and physical datacentre resources, ensuring the success of their SDDC implementations.”
