Distribution Central executive chairman and ARN Hall of Fame inductee, Scott Frew, has been further honoured with his naming as IT & Telecommunications Executive of the Year at the CEO Magazine 2014 Executive of the Year Awards.

The Awards recognise individual excellence of high-level executives nationwide.

Managing Director of Distribution Central, Nick Verykios, was named IT Executive of the Year at the 2013 Awards, and was also nominated in the Managing Director of the Year category at the 2014 Awards.

Distribution Central’s (DC) management has been recognised through several industry and business accolades in recent years with both Frew and Nick Verykios being inducted into the ARN Hall of Fame (2013 and 2012, respectively).

Frew also received including Special Recognition for the Pearcy Foundation NSW 2013 ICT Entrepreneur of the Year

“We’re very proud of Scott’s achievement and our nominations at this year’s Awards, but more so we’re proud of DC’s achievements in the past 10 years and also excited about DC’s future as we enter a new phase in contemporary distribution driven by innovation,” Verykios said.

Distribution Central has grown from $1.6 million in FY2004 to more than $275 million in FY2014 in revenue. It was also named the 2011 BRW ANZ Successful Private Business of the Year (turnover greater than $100 million) and a finalist in the 2014 Telstra Business Awards (Medium Business Category).
