Sage Business Solutions has struck a deal to distribute Aritmos Group software in A/NZ targeting the agri-business and clothing sectors.

The business management software company will distribute the range of Aritmos software solutions for the agri-business and apparel clothing sectors offering Australian business in these sectors a one-stop shop to manage their critical business functions.

The joint offering between Sage and Aritmos, now available through Sage Business Solutions’ business partners in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands, is developed within the Sage ERP X3 platform which integrates all of a company’s functions in the areas of finance, sales, purchasing, CRM, production, logistics, and e-commerce, thereby ensuring consistent data management and real-time monitoring of activities.

According to a company statement, the high degree of specialisation of Aritmos vertical software for Sage ERP X3 meets a variety of needs which can handle multi-company, multi-currency and different legal jurisdictions.

It also offers a solution to monitor all of the business activities related to the fashion industry from the purchasing groups and clothing chains, to the stores and franchises.

As a result, companies can manage garment sizes and colours as well as the generation of articles of clothing and oversight across the entire sales cycle, from purchasing and distribution to wholesale or retail sales.

Aritmos director general, Andreu Salvado, said the relationship recognised the ongoing need for industry solutions that truly understood the business specific needs of target vertical markets

“Our experience in implementing business solutions for the food, agriculture and clothing sector in Spain as well as in other countries has resulted in a rock solid relationship with Sage that will now enable us to bring knowledge and technology to Australian organisations that want to optimise their business management processes," he said.

Headquartered in Spain, Aritmos Group has 30 years’ experience developing technological solutions for businesses.

The two companies originally entered into a collaborative IT partnership ten years ago to develop new vertical software solutions for distinct business sectors and industries.

The partnership will also provide solution for the agri-food industry to manage business specific processes for farming and livestock, fruit and vegetable packaging, flour and oil milling, dairy, meat facilities, grain and nut management.

It is designed with specific features to manage aspects such as traceability, control of livestock fattening, animal transport, nutrients, prescriptions and medications, purchasing as well as sales monitoring, stock supply management, transport management, land quality and control, packaging, grading, documentation and reports.

Sage Business Solution managing director, Mike Lorge, the agriculture and clothing sectors continued to be significant contributors to the global economy.

"As a result, we are very excited to expand availability of these solutions through our Sage Business Solutions’ business partner network to Australian, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands customers and offer an end-to-end solution that allows businesses to have complete visibility into their operations from financials, production, sales and distribution to reporting, compliance and business intelligence.

"Ultimately, this will enable organisations to reduce costs, improve efficiency and make informed decisions while providing our partner network with added feature functionality within their overall Sage offering,” he said.
