Juniper Networks appoints new global head of partner distribution

Former Ingram Micro VP to lead worldwide distribution program

Juniper Networks has appointed former Ingram Micro veteran Justin Scopaz as the new global head of partner distribution.

Scopaz recently joined Juniper as senior director of the worldwide distribution organisation, with a focus on turning the distribution program into a centre of value-add rather than a mere transactional area.

As senior director, his role will be to lead a global team, driving worldwide distribution strategy, sales, and operations.

Prior to Juniper, Scopaz spent nearly two decades at Ingram Micro in a variety of senior leadership positions.

Most recently, he served as vice president and general manager of Ingram Micro’s data capture and physical security business units. He also had responsibility for major national partners.

VMware's sponsors and partners used the opportunity at VMworld 2015 to showcase some of their technologies. At an exhibition hall, these vendors educated those that popped by their stands on these solutions and addressed some of the issues surrounding mobility, datacentres, and the Cloud. SOme of the big names there included f5, Palo Alto Networks, HP, Intel, Samsung, and Symantec.
