Dimension Data wins EMC's APJ Global Partner of the Year Award

Dimension Data has won the EMC APJ Global Partner of Year the Award.

It was one of only five Global Partner of the Year Awards presened at EMC's annual Global Partner Summit, EMC World, in Las Vegas recently.

The awards recognise high-achieving EMC resellers who exceeded growth expectations and demonstrated a commitment to excellence through the innovation and thought leadership that supported its business goals, according to a company statement. EMC senior vice president of global channel sales, Gregg Ambulos, said the company was proud to present Dimension Data with the award.

“We look forward to working with the organisation in the future, and thank them for continuing to provide innovative EMC technologies to their customers,” he said.

Dimension Data Australia’s CEO, Rodd Cunico, said Dimension Data had been an EMC global partner for six years.

"In addition to a number of local EMC awards won across a number of countries in recent years, this global award shows the growing synergy between our respective organisations on a global scale, and the role Australia has played in that growth," he said. "With Dimension Data’s focus on quadrupling our global data centre business to US$4 billion by 2018, awards like these underscore our commitment to key technology leaders like EMC. Their form the foundation of our client value propositions to clients around the world."

With EDGE 2015 just 17 days away, ARN and Reseller News NZ held a Sponsors Briefing where ARN publisher and president, Susan Searle, and Events Manager, Alexandra West, ran through the considerable logistics in detail. Attendees then enjoyed some splendid canapes and drinks. EDGE is designed to bring the A/NZ channel together in a collaborative and educational environment. Themed around channel channel leadership, EDGE will be held at the Sheraton Mirage, Port Douglas, July 20-23. Photos by MIKE GEE.
