As part of the agreement, SAP and Adobe will design a combination of digital marketing and commerce solutions based on HANA and the Marketing Cloud intended to assists with data analytics across marketing channels and customer touch point.
SAP HANA is a relational database management platform which can be deployed as an on premises-appliance or in the Cloud.
Adobe’s Marketing Cloud features the vendor’s Analytics, Target, Social, Experience Manager, Media Optimiser and Campaign offerings through one solution.
The goal is to deliver a more relevant and contextual experience to enterprise customers in digital marketing and omni-channel commerce.
According to a statement from Adobe, the integration between Hybris’ Commerce Suite and the Adobe Marketing Cloud will enable marketers to personalise consumers’ shopping experience from brand management through to marketing.
The partnership is also expected to allow marketers to develop a 360-degree of customers and relevant transactions through the combination of SAP Customer Engagement Intelligence (which is powered by HANA) and Adobe’s Marketing Cloud.
Hybris Software is an SAP company which specialises in data management for commerce processes via its OmniCommerce platform.
