As part of the agreement, the Australian distributor will deliver Tripwire’s full security solutions portfolio to the Australian and New Zealand (A/NZ) markets.
The partnership comes as a result of WhiteGold’s relationship with nCircle, a competing vendor which Tripwire acquired in March 2013.
The distributor claims it was instrumental in expanding nCircle’s channel in Australia prior to the takeover, and demonstrated security expertise and channel experience which prompted Tripwire to extend the agreement.
“WhiteGold has a solid focus on the security space as well as sales offices in key cities, and they offer a range of value-added services that are important to our partners,” Tripwire A/NZ and Southeast Asia regional manager, Jonathon Barford, said.
“Our partnership creates the perfect platform to help meet the increasing demands for security and compliance solutions. This collaboration also makes it easier for our partners to leverage Tripwire’s Technology Alliance Partner (TAP) program and add significant value to previous customer technology purchase.”
TAP is designed to offer Tripwire partners a series of options and benefits based on their investment level.
These include alliance management and communication, promoting and branding, joint solutions, support, field outreach, lead generation, product discounts, market development funds, tools and resources, and representation at the vendor’s events.
